How Trident Glass Services Pty Ltd collects, uses, and protects your information through the Trident Glass mobile application and our website.

Effective date: 20 June 2026

1. Introduction

Trident Glass Services Pty Ltd ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Trident Glass mobile application (the "App") and the website at tridentglassservices.com.au (together, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. We are committed to handling your information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

By using our Services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

We only collect information that is reasonably necessary to provide our glazing services and to operate the App. This includes:

  • Name — so we can identify you and personalise our communication and quotes.
  • Contact information — your email address and phone number, used to respond to enquiries, send quotes, and arrange bookings.
  • Address — the property or service address you provide so we can deliver glazing services to the correct location.
  • Location data — with your permission, the App may access your device location to help you find nearby service areas and to pre-fill your service address. Location access is optional and can be enabled or disabled at any time in your device settings.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive information (such as health, financial account, or biometric data) through the App.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Services;
  • Respond to your enquiries and provide quotes for glazing work;
  • Schedule, confirm, and carry out bookings and jobs;
  • Identify service areas near you using your location, where you have granted permission;
  • Communicate with you about your requests, jobs, and updates to our Services; and
  • Comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.

4. Location Data

The App uses location data only to help you find the nearest service area and to assist with entering your service address. Location access requires your consent and is requested through the standard iOS permission prompt. You can withdraw this permission at any time by going to Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services on your device. Disabling location does not prevent you from using the rest of the App.

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers — trusted third parties who help us operate our Services (for example, hosting and communication providers), who are only permitted to use your information to perform services on our behalf;
  • Legal requirements — where required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property, or that of others.

6. Data Storage and Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification, and disclosure. These steps include secure storage, restricted access, and the use of reputable service providers. While we strive to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, to provide our Services, and to comply with our legal obligations. When your information is no longer required, we will take reasonable steps to securely delete or de-identify it.

8. Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you;
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • Request deletion of your personal information and your account; and
  • Withdraw consent to optional features, such as location access.

To exercise any of these rights, including requesting deletion of your account and associated data, please contact us at info@tridentglassservices.com.au. We will respond to your request within a reasonable timeframe.

9. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Your continued use of the Services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
